The TNT Short-film Festival is a Turner Brazil initiative produced by Casa Redonda and Movie&Arte. The proposal is to hold an unprecedented script-writing contest with a panel of expert judges that will elect six winners. The winning scripts will be produced by Movie&Arte and exhibited on prime time in the channel’s programming.

The platform will reveal strong scripts to which subscribers can relate. The channel has some of the highest ratings of cable TV channels in Brazil. One of the ideas behind the contest is to pave the way for new-distinguished talents. It is produced by Casa Redonda.

A documentary series about the production process of short-films will accompany the Festival and show the anguish, mistakes and successes behind the scenes of the winning scripts.
