The Claro National Festival of very short films was created to celebrate audiovisual production in short format captured by mobile devices. The Instituto Claro initiative, in partnership with Casa Redonda, has unveiled a new generation of creators that film and share their video production through the new social media.
Besides the festival, the Claro short-film platform has conducted free audiovisual workshops in many Brazilian states through the Laboratório project of audiovisual experiments. The workshops provided a transformative, dynamic and democratic methodology that connects with the fast-paced contemporary methods of video production and dissemination.
